Final preparations are being made and the last of the training is being crammed in. If we are not fit enough now then it is too late. By this time next week we will have completed Ben Nevis and be on our way to Sca Fell Pike, brimming with confidence I have no doubt.
I’m making lists like a fury just now and wondering when I’m going to get the time to do/gather everything that is on them. As with the A-Team the plan will all come together just in the nick of time I have no doubt. Tuesday I am off to Ben Lomond to complete my final training session. Stacey and Cameron managed to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge in under 12 hours today, and Cameron picked up some blisters and a groin strain along the way. Despite this he is still ready to go for the 21st July.
Rob, Haidar and Paul have been busy too and I’m looking forward to seeing them all up here bright and early next Saturday morning. They’ll all be lean and hungry I’ve no doubt.
A huge thank you to everyone that has sponsored us so far. As I write this Stacey, Cameron and I have raised £580 online and a further £375 offline for Macmillan Cancer Support. Rob, Haidar and Paul have raised £860 online for Amnesty International. That’s a fantastic total for both of these causes and is a real boost for us as we finalise our preparations.
